La Butte is a quiet, non-fenced dog park in Plan-les-Ouates, a 25-minute walk from Lancy-Bachet station. With well-maintained grass and low crowds, it’s the best local spot for focused training or uninterrupted fetch. Street parking and poop bags are available, but bring your own water in winter as the fountain may close.

La Butte is one of the few dog parks in Plan-les-Ouates. It is located close to the city town hall, about 25 to 30 minutes walk from Lancy-Bachet station. Street parking is also available close to the park.

The park is not fenced and usually does not have many dogs around, which makes it a great spot for dogs that prefer a calmer environment or for focused training sessions. The grass is well maintained so you can play fetch without getting muddy. There are plenty of trash cans with poop bags available throughout the park.

There is a water fountain next to the public toilet, though we are not sure if it stays open during the colder months so it is worth bringing your own just in case.

We mainly come here to play fetch. The quiet and open space makes it one of the better parks for a clean, uninterrupted game.

There is a similar-sized open field directly across from La Butte. This is not part of the dog park.

Would we go back? Yes, if we are in the area.
