Bois de la Bâtie, Geneva

Bois de la Bâtie is a large nature park located in Jonction. It is home to a small zoo, a large children's play area, and dedicated spaces for dogs.

The park is quite big and has several map displays throughout showing where dogs are allowed to roam freely. The main open space where dogs can play together is in front of the Sandra Bar, and on weekends you will usually find a few dogs there. There are also a couple of water fountains nearby for dogs to drink from.

The park sits on elevated ground and from the dog area you can see the Jet d'Eau, which makes for a pretty backdrop while Abby runs around.

After the park, the Rhône river path below is also an official off-leash area, so we usually continue the walk down along the river to make the most of the outing.
