We got this when Abby got spayed as a more comfortable alternative to the traditional e-collar.
What we like
It is really easy to put on thanks to the zipper, takes only a few seconds. Since Abby is female she practically does not need to take it off to pee or poop as there is an opening in the back. If you have a male dog, there is an option to cut the middle section out, though we are not sure how effective that is at keeping things dry.
The middle section also has two layers of fabric, so if it is slightly wet outside the inside stays dry.
What we don't like
The fabric could get warm in summer without air conditioning, something to keep in mind if your dog is recovering during the hotter months.
How Abby uses it
Abby wears it every day post spay surgery until her stitches heal fully. Since we only bought one, we usually take it off when she goes outside to keep it clean. If we are feeling lazy, we just remove her back legs from the suit, zip it up and fold it over her tummy so it does not drag on the grass when she pees.
Would we recommend it? Yes.
